Rules & Regulations
1. Nominations are welcome for any generalist or specialty function within the human resources field.
2. Awards are open to individuals and organizations operating within “Silicon Valley,” including the south, north and east bay.
3. The Awards Committee of the HR Symposium may contact members of the nominee’s organization to corroborate or obtain additional information.
4. The Awards Committee may recommend placement of a nominee in another category where that may be more appropriate.
5. A nomination may only be submitted in one category.
6. Closing date for nominations is April 4, 2008.
7. A panel of judges, comprised of the award winners from the previous year as well as Award Committee members, will select the finalists and choose the award winners.
8. Awards may not be presented unless suitable nominations are received.
9. Although one award winner will be selected in each of the three award categories, the Awards Committee reserves the right to not present an award in any category where suitable nominations have not been received.
10. Award winners will be invited to attend the gala celebration on May 14, 2008 where they will be recognized. Award recipients will be the guests of The HR Symposium.
