Human Resource - Awards of Excellence
Award Categories and Criteria
We encourage you to nominate employees, co-workers or others in the Human Resources field. As a member of the industry community, you are best served to identify colleagues whose contributions have advanced our discipline.
Award Categories:
HR Leadership
Award will be presented to the leader of a human resource function. This award specifically acknowledges those representing the company and the department, regardless of company size.
HR Innovation
Award singles out an employee or manager with human resource responsibilities. Accordingly, nominees may be derived from within or outside a formal Human Resources department.
Excellence in Partnership with HR
Award recognizes just that -- our partners. Nominees may come from the human resource community, as well as vendors or consulting firms -- particularly those vital in supporting or undertaking responsibilities normally reserved for a corporate Human Resources entity.
Functional Excellence in HR
Award presented will be to an employee or manager who excels in their functional HR role. Nominees may come from a number of functional disciplines within an HR department.
Award Criteria:
HR Leadership
* The fighter. The problem solver. The pioneer. We're referring directly to professionals who have articulated a vision and demonstrated human resource strategic leadership and business input. A vision that has impacted the culture of their organization. A vision whose effects have lead to the attraction, recruitment and/or retention of excellent employees.
* The very definition of excellence in human resource functional leadership and the very individual whose legacy empowers change and a lasting impression.
* The legend. An individual that has demonstrated excellence in human resource performance throughout the years -- one who has contributed to the industry and exudes social responsibility.
HR Innovation
The professional who has championed an innovative Human Resource program, idea or system that has produced positive, fundamental change; or, whose ideals have lead to a major business impact within their organization.
Excellence in Partnership with HR
Nominees are contractors, consultants or vendors who have designed and implemented human resource solutions. These solutions positively impact a company through time or money savings, or through the creation of positive business results. We seek groups that define the essence of partnerships.
Functional Excellence in HR
This award will go to the HR professional who has demonstrated excellence in their role as a functional HR expert. This individual may come from a number of key functional HR disciplines. These disciplines may include, but are not limited to: Compensation, Benefits, Training & Development, Organizational Development, HR Information Systems, HR Operations and Recruitment just to name a few. The recipient will have demonstrated significant, value-add functional HR expertise – this excellence in action will be the hallmark of recognition for this new award category.
