Lyn Boone Memorial Scholarship Program

Application deadline for the 2012 Scholarships: Friday, March 16, 2012

While the HR Symposium serves as a valuable educational and networking forum, it further advances the development of the Human Resources profession through sponsorship of The Lyn Boone Memorial Scholarship program. To date, a total of $268,000 has been awarded to deserving students pursuing HR-related degrees. 

Scholarships are available to graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in Human Resource degree programs as well as HR professionals enrolled in MBA programs with the objective of advancing in the HR field. Each scholarship will start at $3,000 and will be awarded at the discretion of the Symposium Scholarship Committee.

Advancing the development of the Human Resource profession in Northern California
Lyn Boone was one of the early members of the HR Symposium 
Steering Committee, served as its chairperson, and later became 
a member of Human Resources, Inc.’s Board of Directors. 
Lyn's distinguished career included roles as Intel’s Corporate 
Staffing Manager, Lee Hecht Harrison’s Vice President of Client 
Relations and Cadence Design Systems’ Senior Staffing Manager.

It was during this time Lyn took ill and ultimately left her legacy.
